"Securite" (pronounced SAY-CURE-E-TAY) is an international word in the Marine Radio Industry and means that an important broadcast is about to be transmitted re navigation or weather warnings.
"Securite" is a moderated mailing list. It is open to all, not just Coast Guard Members.
All items sent to the Moderator are checked before they are transmitted, and the decision of the Moderator is final.
