National MagazineCoast Guard National MagazineCoast Guard is the half-yearly national magazine of The Australian Volunteer Coast Guard Association, Australia’s largest independent boating education, search and rescue organisation. All Coast Guard members receive the magazine which also is freely distributed at public courses in seamanship, radio operation and navigation conducted by the Association. The organisation has access to the resources of overseas search and rescue and education groups such as the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in the U.K. and the U.S. Coast Guard. It also is a member of the International Lifeboat Federation. August is the deadline for the next issue.
