Recently the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard in Victoria has installed and commisioned seven radio repeaters along the coastline of Victoria. This radio network provids the ability for both recreational and professional maritime users to access weather reports and provides communications that has never before been available.

When seen here with the facilities that are provided by the repeaters in Tasmania it can be seen that there is a comprehensive radio network for the South East corner of Australia.
