New AVCG website
As our organisation moves forward, the need to provide our members, associates, community, boating industry and government departments with better online communication, up-to-date information and services, we have developed a new AVCG ecommerce website. The AVCG website is light-years ahead in terms of functionality, features, navigation and overall appearance. The AVCG website will be in a TESTING stage over the next three weeks.
Search and rescue services from around north Queensland amassed in Townsville on Saturday to undertake a series of simulated missions staged to check their competency.
Water police, SES, Volunteer Coast Guard, Volunteer Marine Rescue, Emergency Management Queensland, the Queensland ambulance service, and state emergency helicopter worked together on the exercises which serve as practice and performance check.

When boating all precautions should be taken and a parent's job is never over, and that's especially true while boating.
Do you let your small child go for a car ride without being put into a car seat? Probably not and besides that it would be against the law... The same consistency will help you get your child to always wear a life jacket on the water.
